About Us

The Jamaica Association of Otolaryngologists- Head & Neck Surgeons is a not for profit organization that was formed in 2011 with a mission to raise awareness about head & neck disorders and their management. The main impetus was one of our respected Senior ENT Surgeons in Jamaica – Dr. Stephen Chang. At that time, we had a relatively large and expanding cadre of locally-trained ENT Surgeons and we felt the time had come to use our numbers to make an impact locally and regionally.

Our aim is to act as a resource for members of the general public who may seek to get information about ENT problems. Another very important aim is to provide Continuing Medical Education for our Residents in training, ENT Surgeons, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and all other Medical Professionals who are involved in the management of patients with ENT problems.
